When we began this small missionary project, we didn't realize the extent to which it would encourage people and how rapidly it would become popular. The site is ever changing and, we hope, ever improving. We want the site to be appealing, to prosper and encourage God's people. In the end, the successful fulfillment of this site's mission really depends though upon you. The following are various ways in which you can help . . .

• You can suggest and provide for us the documents we need for the site: conservative Seventh-day Adventist materials that fit in with heaven's program, rather than try to make heaven's program try to fit into ours.
• You can give your time, helping us to prepare the documents for electronic publication on the web.
• You can help us to stay informed about attacks upon the truth that we should address.
• Most of all, you can pray for this project. This we covet. I sense that without your many prayers, this website wouldlong ago have been forced "off the air."
• There may be other ways in which you can help. Talk to us about it.
• You can now assist through your financial support of this project. After consulting with the Nevada-Utah Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the Price SDA Church has added a line in its financial statement so that tax-deductible contributions can be made to GreatControversy.org. Your assistance written as a contribution to the "Price SDA Church" for the GreatControversy.org Website will assist us in continuing and enhancing the ministry of this website. GreatControversy.org is administrated by Larry Kirkpatrick, a pastor presently serving in the Nevada-Utah Conference of SDA. GreatControversy.org will provide to the treasurer of the Price SDA Church a report at regular intevals of how the funds were spent in the direct support of the ministry of the Price SDA Church and the GreatControversy.org Website.

We have no interest in centering on the needs, financial and otherwise for this website. You know that we are here. You've seen the content and know something about what we are about. We look forward to adding more material, positive, consistent with the precious heritage of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Some of our equipment is very old. We hope to acquire a server and our own permanent connection to the internet to run the site on (presently it is hosted on a computer in a company in Pittsburgh). Conservative Adventism has lacked consistent representation in some of the places where we would have expected it. This site supplements these other venues and provides a much-needed voice for truth. in fact, the website idea really only began to crystalize after C. Mervyn Maxwell urged me, "Larry, write out your sermons. Then you will have something to share when you are done." That counsel marked a milestone, for since then I have made it a practice to write up my sermons, and now have something to share on the web that can encourage others.

So please, just keep this missionary project in mind, and pray for us and the website. If you can assist us financially with your free-will offerings, then please feel free to do so. But if not, then don't. We are not in this work, nor run this website, for money. We never thought of asking for money, until visitors to the site began asking us how they could contribute.
