A Statement Advocating Unrestricted Christian Document and File ReproductionIt is my desire to provide the sermons, documents, and files on this website to all who might benefit from them, (1) for free reproduction, (2) available free of cost, (3) and unrestricted in use. If the word of God is in them, how can I charge a price? There is no toll charge on His words. If I make them available under a copyright or an open-content license, how shall I enforce without litigating? How shall I fulfill the mandate of Scripture pleading that Christians settle differences outside of the secular legal setting? God freely gives and would have us freely receive. The New Testament states that the laborer is worthy of his hire. If you have benefited from these materials I encourage you to prayerfully consider--if you desire--whether you can send some sum, whether small or large, to aid in covering the costs of my computer needs, printer cartridges, internet connection, software, etc. Whatever you may choose to do, know that I insist that you may freely reproduce, transmit, etc. the sermons, documents, or other files located on this site that have come from my pen. In almost every case, the content on this site comes under this same open philosophy (there are a few copywritten materials by certain individuals). Content wants to be free. God's content is unchained; He is the first open-source Advocate. I urge those who publish Bibles, books and Christian music to evaluate their viewpoints on copyright and the reproducibility of their productions in light of these points. May all who name the name of Christ live what they believe sending forth without restriction that which is from Him for the blessing of humankind. Those desiring and able to assist in the origination and publishing of these materials may financially support this work by, as occasion permits, sending to Larry Kirkpatrick Make any checks payable to "Larry Kirkpatrick," and include the comment "Please use in reference to your publishing," or some similar notation.
