*** Immediate Action Suggested *** New GC Music Guidelines Feedback Timeframe ItemHighland, California, January 29, 2004: It has come to our attention that the General Conference is recommending us that those interested in providing feedback on the new draft GC guidelines on music should do so “as soon as possible.” We have just received an email from the secretary of Elder Ted N. C. Wilson informing us that feedback should now be sent directly to her via email. Here is her contact information: Carolyn Kujawa, email: kujawac@gc.adventist.org If you have not done so already, please review the new guidelines (see below) and provide your feedback accordingly. Apparently, there is about a two week window in which to get our feedback in. After mid-February, the GC will begin processing the input into a form so as to allow more efficient distribution to those responsible for formulating the final document. Feedback after mid-February will not be rejected, but it will be most effective if submitted before that deadline. It is crucial for those of us who desire to let our voices be heard to act now. This is a rare opportunity to make a difference by speaking out. To assist in your review, please go to the online article which we have published on this topic. Our article on this subject contains analysis, helpful resources, and other interesting information to help you in formulating a response. Please take advantage of it.
