Iona Research Center for Bible and
Health
Opens Near Loma Linda

Peter Gregory, Larry Kirkpatrick To Lead Out

An increasingly powerful trend in recent years has been the development of small, evangelistic Bible-training schools scattered about. Iona Research Center was begun by Peter Gregory in North Carolina, then moved to Hawaii, and will reopen on Sunday, September 14 near Loma Linda, California. These small schools are training and equipping ministries to help Adventist young people develop skills and gifts for sharing the third angel's message. These programs, unlike those in some larger institutions, tend to treat with great respect the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy materials. They tend to have an uncompromising commitment to giving the third angel's message. This is what Iona plans to be: a straight, sound school to advance the work of God.

Iona is presently offering a multi-year plan of instruction, and is on a quarter-system. Classes offered for Fall quarter 2003 are:

RELB 160 Conversion and Righteousness by Faith. Instructor: Peter Gregory
RELB 202 Daniel. Instructor: Peter Gregory
RELB124 Fundamentals of Christian Faith. Instructor: Larry Kirkpatrick
LAB 125 Science of Bible Work. Instructor: Peter Gregory
EVMN 101 Evangelistic Ministries. Instructor: Peter Gregory

Fall Quarter runs from September through November. The website (http://www.ionabible.org) needs to be updated, but does have a report from the recent mission trip to Peru. More information is available at:
