GreatControversy.org Publishing Schedule

Because we do not always follow our general plan of publishing on every Thrusday, we thought we would pause to update and clarify our current program.

• The standard schedule for our publishing on the website is that every Thursday we publish a new editorial and every Sabbath we publish a new sermon.
• This schedule is modified if we are away on a speaking engagement, or if we are heavily involved in a currently developing issue which may mean that regular editorials are not published but that instead our energies are put into the development of substantial theological papers or presentations on the issues at hand.
• Again, if a major news item is breaking in Adventism we may publish every day on it. It all depends.
• Because of the zeal of Mentone Church's technical crew, often the sermon that is preached Sabbath morning is available by late Sabbath afternoon in mp3 audio at www.MentoneSDA.org/audio/index.html.
• GreatControversy.org is an important part of our ministry, but it is secondary to our service in ministry to the Mentone Church of Seventh-day Adventists located near Loma Linda, California.
• If financial support ever permits, we may add a part-time employee to help us keep the website current. We are also considering internet radio broadcast, but that would only be possible were interest high enough and funds were there. We are content to do what we are doing but we are open to expanding the influence of the website. Our father knows what our energy limits are and what the denomination's needs are.

Pr. Larry Kirkpatrick

Pastor Larry Kirkpatrick is an ordained minister of the gospel. Since 1994 he has served in the American Southwest as pastor to several churches. He received his BA in Religion from Southern Adventist University in 1994 and a Master of Divinity from Andrews University in 1999 with a specialization in Adventist Studies. While in Michigan he was employed by the General Conference at the White Estate Berrien Springs branch office. More important than his scholastic preparation has been his immersion in the biblical and Spirit of Prophecy materials. He is author of the 2003 book Real Grace for Real People. Presently he serves as Pastor of the Mentone Church of Seventh-day Adventists, located near Loma Linda, California. Larry is married to Pamela. The couple presently live in Highland, California along with their two children, Etienne and Melinda.
